Fall Activities in Toronto

As the seasons begin to change so do Toronto’s attractions. Find out what the city will be offering this fall as October kicks off this spirited season.

Nuit Blanche Night
(October 5)

One sleepless night filled with magnificent artwork, music, light shows and more. On October 5th from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., the city will transform into one large art gallery. Experience 90 projects created by more than 300 North American artists as you walk through downtown Toronto!

Party at the Gallery- Friday Night Live at the ROM
(October 4- November 29)

From October 4th until November 29th, the Royal Ontario Museum will close its doors to the exhibits and transform into a club-inspired event with music sets by Toronto’s top DJ’s. From 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. every Friday, you can enjoy great drinks, delicious food provided by up-scale vendors, as well as various themed nights throughout the whole event. Dance the night away in one of Toronto’s most beautiful museums.

Fall Concerts

This fall, Toronto will host musical artists in the city’s top performance venues. A few events to look forward to are Post Malone at the Scotiabank Arena on October 3rd if you are an R&B fan. For Indie Rock lovers, Bon Iver will be performing on October 6th and for those who are excited about EDM concerts, the Chainsmokers will be performing on October 8th with Lennon Stella and 5 Seconds of Summer as opening acts.

The Toronto Symphony Orchestra

If you’re looking for an elegant night filled with beautiful live instruments, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra will be offering a variety of shows every week. Be consumed by the phenomenal music and relive the Star Wars: Return of the Jedi on the big screen while listening to the orchestra playing every song from October 3rd to October 5th. Alternatively, immerse yourself in Vivaldi’s Four Seasons concert on November 16th until the 21st.

Halloween

Get ready for a festive Halloween this year with attractions that range from spooky to freaky. If you love pumpkin carving, Pumpkins After Dark is a must-see. For those who enjoy getting scared, the Legends of Horror at the Casa Loma offers a theatrical performance of all your favourite horror films. If you are a haunted house fanatic, go through terrifying trails and get frightened by characters at Canada’s Wonderland Halloween Haunt. Happy Halloween!
